Three British folks and a South African had been killed Thursday in a aircraft crash near Dubai airport, the United Arab Emirates’ state information company reported.

“The four-seat plane crashed while on a mission to calibrate terrestrial navigation systems at the airport, with all crew members, three British, and one South African, killed,” the information company stated.

The plane, owned by US tech big Honeywell, crashed on account of a technical malfunction, it stated.

An earlier report by the emirate’s authorities media workplace stated the pilot and co-pilot of a small aircraft had been killed.

It added that each one operations on the airport had been working easily after “a slight delay and diversion of some flights as a precautionary measure”.
