New Delhi [India], January 13 (Indiaprix): Domestic cricket stars Shubman Gill and Vijay Shankar have changed KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya Indian ODI team.
Although Shankar joins the Indian team before the third ODI series currently going on in Australia against Adelaide, Gill has been selected for ODI and T20I against New Zealand on January 23rd.
The development took place after Pandya and Rahul were asked to return from Australia after being suspended indefinitely against their controversial remarks against women in a celebrity chat presentation.
For 19-year-old Gill, it is an oriental Indian invitation that will be the backbone of her impressive performance in the home. The right-hand bat had been in Ranj's trophy during the season, where he received an average of 98.75 runs of 790 runs.
On the other hand, Shankar has called for a second time in a national team. He had made his T20I debut at the Nidahas trophy in March 2018. All-rounder was scored in India.
At the same time, Pandya and Rahul have been given seven days to explain their alleged misconduct and discipline during the discussion program to the Cricket government in India (BCCI). (I-ALPHA)
