“I want to assure you that the growth strategy of the airline remains unchanged and firmly in place, and the management is fully charged by the Board to implement it,” Mr Dutta mentioned within the e mail.

The expansion technique of IndiGo stays unchanged and the airline’s administration has full backing of the corporate’s board of administrators to implement it, mentioned Ronojoy Dutta, CEO, InterGlobe Aviation, in an e mail to his workers on Thursday. The e-mail was despatched to workers by the CEO as there have been varied media experiences on Thursday morning relating to alleged disagreements between the airline’s two promoters – Rahul Bhatia and Rakesh Gangwal.

At 2:24 pm, shares in InterGlobe Aviation have been buying and selling down 7.58 per cent at Rs 1,486.70 on the BSE underperforming the benchmark index Sensex which was up 0.53 per cent.
